Harvest Environmentally Connected.
Located in the northwest quadrant of I-35W and FM 407 just north of AllianceTexas, Harvest is strategically positioned to fulfill new housing demands in one of the most active markets in Dallas/Fort Worth. Its boundaries span portions of both the Northlake and Argyle ETJs (Extra Territorial Jurisdictions).
Benefiting from its rich farming history, Harvest will become the 21st-century version of its agrarian past. There will be a community farm, directed and managed by a professional farm operator. Short pedestrian-friendly streets, greenbelts and trails are planned to encourage residents to walk (or cycle) their community. Neighborhood pools, a 12-acre lake, several community buildings, ballfields and pocket parks will be created for home owner use.
Ground breaking took place on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 and included the moving of the 120-year-old Faught Family Farm House. Builders' models and amenities are scheduled for completion at the end of Summer 2013. Three top home builders, David Weekley Homes (Harvest Gardens and Harvest Orchard), Highland Homes and Plantation Homes, are already part of the Harvest family.
