The first public/private partnership that launched Hillwood was created in the late 1980s by then Fort Worth Mayor Bob Bolen, Ross Perot, Jr. and the Federal Aviation Agency. Their combined vision became AllianceTexas and continues to be the standard for successful entrepreneurial partnerships. It began a Hillwood tradition of leveraging strategic partnerships to enhance our business.

Hillwood has joined forces with a variety of entities to build infrastructure, schools and amenities through creative agreements, including Public Improvement Districts, Municipal Utility Districts and Community Foundations.

Working in tandem with these tactical partners has resulted in the best neighborhoods for our home owners, building partners and municipalities.
