For the third consecutive year, Hillwood Communities has received the highest accolades from the Dallas Builders Association annual sales and marketing awards. Pecan Square by Hillwood, our beautiful Northlake, Texas community, was selected as Master-Planned and People’s Choice Community of the Year. This is the second time for Pecan Square to win both coveted awards.

Union Park by Hillwood also saw two prestigious awards come its way in categories that align to the unique way Hillwood Communities builds lifestyle into our largest masterplans. This nature-focused community in Little Elm, Texas received both Lifestyle Program and Lifestyle Director of the Year accolades. Since the inception of these two categories in 2017, Hillwood Communities and FirstService Residential has won Lifestyle Director six of seven years across our Harvest community in Argyle and Northlake, Pecan Square, and Union Park; and has won Lifestyle Program five of seven years.
Strong People and Programs
In addition to recognition in these four key categories, Hillwood Communities was selected as Developer of the Year for the second consecutive year. One of the highest honors awarded at the annual industry awards dinner, Hillwood has claimed the title for five of the past eight years.
Key personnel and marketing efforts were also recognized, including our philanthropic efforts for Building Homes for Heroes. The 300th home celebration in Pecan Square, where another mortgage-free home was presented to a severely wounded U.S. Military Veteran, won as its second recognition of the year after winning the Building Industry Community Spirit Award with builder partner Highland Homes at The Nationals in January.
