Giving Back

Support for the places we call home

At Hillwood Communities, our team has always believed in giving back to the communities we serve. Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to partner with a wide variety of charitable organizations. Whether we’re serving those who are homeless, aiding children of abuse and neglect, supporting first responders or assisting our nation’s veterans, Hillwood Communities is committed to strengthening communities by empowering individuals.

Caring through Community

To deepen our impact and help foster a sense of community, we created a unique facet within our Lifestyle by Hillwood programs. Each lifestyle program focuses neighbors’ attention on a worthwhile organization within their local community. Whether its supporting and supplementing the needs of the on-site elementary school or raising funds and hosting food drives for the North Texas Food Bank, this program encourages neighbors to come together for the greater good and help where it’s most effective.

Honoring our Veterans

Hillwood Communities is proud to honor the Perot family’s legacy of support to our servicemen and servicewomen. Ross Perot, Sr., served in the U.S. Navy. His son and our founder, Ross Perot, Jr., and grandson, Hill Perot, both served in the Air Force. Dedication to our military is a cornerstone of our company, which is why we support the Building Homes for Heroes mission to provide mortgage-free homes and ongoing support services to severely wounded veterans.
