Dallas-based Hillwood Communities provided a construction update at Pomona, its first development in the Houston market.
Since home building began in Dec. 2015, 103 of the 300 houses in the first phase of the development have been sold, according to the developer.
Last week, representatives from the Pearland Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the new Camp Pomona recreational center at a ribbon cutting.
The 2,900-square-foot recreational center, which opens in January, will have nine private cabanas, two large pools, and offices and conference rooms for the Pomona staff. The facility will have an “exploration zone” playground an an event lawn along Mustang Bayou.
