Diana Carroll’s driving passion and focus has always been marketing and advertising. After graduating from the Art Institute of Houston, she began her advertising career in the trenches as a designer and copywriter. With more than three decades of experience in marketing, advertising, and communication, Diana has developed a diverse skill set focused on brand and strategy for B2B and B2C companies. Two of her four agency stints specialized in real estate advertising. After a short foray into healthcare marketing and communications for JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, she returned to her passion for real estate when she joined Hillwood Communities in 2019. Diana is responsible for the Hillwood Communities division brand, coordinating message strategies for three Texas markets, and overseeing the marketing for all DFW communities. Since Diana joined the division, Hillwood has routinely been recognized with local and national industry awards including master-planned community of the year and developer of the year for four consecutive years. She received the Nationals Gold Award for Marketing Professional of the Year in 2023, awarded by the NAHB.

Diana enjoys participating in the Dallas Builders Association, and has served as an inaugural member and board member of its Professional Women in Building Council. She was co-chair of the Human Experience and Innovation ULI Product Council, and has served on the John Burns Real Estate Council New Home Trends Institute Consumer Trends Council. Diana’s faith underpins her outlook and she works through her church and Metrocrest Services to help those in need and serves as Secretary for HomeAid North Texas.
