Patrick Cowden
Director of Development, Dallas-Fort Worth
As the Director of Development for the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Patrick oversees and manages project teams and consultants through land planning, engineering, permitting, bidding, construction and delivery of lots to our homebuilder customers. His strategic leadership ensures projects are executed efficiently, on budget and to the highest standards. Prior to Hillwood, Patrick gained valuable experience at Republic Property Group, another local lot development real estate company. Over the course of his career, he has played an integral role in the management of more than 20,000 single-family lots, solidifying his reputation as a trusted leader in the industry.
Originally from Amarillo, Texas, Patrick is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in architecture and a master’s in land development. His strong academic foundation, coupled with years of hands-on experience, equips him to navigate the complexities of large-scale development projects. In his free time, Patrick enjoys playing golf, running, and spending quality time with his wife and four children.
